Joystick Jocks is an online dynasty league that is played on the Playstation 3 and uses NCAA Football 09. We are in our third season (2010). We are a league that uses the maximum number of players allowed by EA Sports in this year's title and that is twelve. We allow any player to use any team on the game that they would like. In our first two season of play we have had two National Title games in which was held between two user controlled teams. In the 2008 season the Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the LSU Tigers. In the 2009 season the Florida State Seminoles defeated the Penn State Nittany Lions. Features Our main page is where we want us to be known for. We have a lot of sections in the navigation area that will be discussed below but there are alot of informative stuff on the main. We have a section for the top 25 as well as a poll section and a video corner. One other piece that we have added is the 'In Game Pictures' that automatically rotates every two seconds. These are photos that are taken by the users and sent in to be placed on the main page. We feature a full jocks page that lists all the jocks and the teams in which they have been with and are currently with. Also on the jocks page you will find the coaches 'post season' activity. When coming to our page the first thing many people would like to see is the history of the league. Well we have that covered also. The history link will lead you to the previous and current National Champions. Also in that section to take note is the teams that have been used in previous years and current years. You can click on a team and it will lead you to their page in which will show you previous schedules of that team (only user controlled teams get updated). The Heisman award is probably the most prestigous award in College football. We have a page that lists the current names in the race and also past winners. Once the BCS rankings are released after Week 8 we have a page dedicated to just that. We don't stop there. We also list the teams in their respective conferences and how they stand in their road to their conference titles and a BCS bowl game. One big feature that sets us apart from everyone else, if the above isn't enough, we hold a radio show that will sneak in here and there that will give latest information about the league as well as upcoming events. Everything that is scene on the site is for fantasy purposes only and is not in any way affiliated with the NCAA. This is for the sole purpose of a group of players who love the game NCAA Football. |
